Allowance that teaches accountability.
Set a weekly amount. Add deductions or bonuses with a reason as the week unfolds. Pay out what's left. Your child sees every change in real time.
How it works
PaidOut gives parents a simple system to manage allowances with built-in accountability. Kids see exactly where their money goes — and why.
Set the amount
Choose a starting balance for each child's cycle — weekly, biweekly, monthly, or any cadence that fits your family.
Track as you go
Add deductions for missed chores or bonuses for going above and beyond. Every entry includes a reason your child can see.
Pay what's earned
At the end of the cycle, pay out the remaining balance through Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. A new cycle starts automatically.

Frequently asked questions
Does PaidOut handle the actual money?
No. PaidOut tracks the allowance balance and tells you when and how much to pay. You send the money yourself through Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, or however your family prefers. We pre-fill the amount and recipient to make it one tap.
What happens if I downgrade from premium?
All your data is kept. You'll still be able to manage your first child, but additional children will be locked until you upgrade again. Nothing is deleted.
Can my child change their balance?
No. Children have a read-only view. Only parents (allocators) can add deductions, bonuses, or mark payouts. Kids can claim tasks and mark them as done, but the parent approves before any reward is applied.
What cadences are supported?
Daily, weekly, biweekly, bimonthly (1st & 15th), monthly, quarterly, semiannually, and annually. Each child can have a different cadence.
Can both parents manage the account?
Yes, on the premium plan. Invite a co-parent and they get full access to add transactions, approve tasks, and manage payouts for all children.
